Job Description

Complete operational handling of Air Import & Export shipments.
Procurement: Ability to procure competitive rates from agents, airlines and conduct market inquiries.
To prepare and provide accurate rate quotations to customers after adding profit margin as per company policy.
Shipment Execution: To send execution emails to agents and give go-ahead for shipment processing after award.
Coordinate with agents by providing complete shipper & consignee details.
Prepare House Air Waybill (HAWB) draft and get approval from consignee after updating.
End-to-end follow-up of the shipment from execution till smooth and timely delivery to the consignee.
Must have complete knowledge of handling wrong manifest issues at the airport and should be able to take prompt corrective action by coordinating with airlines and ground handling agents to get it cleared in a timely manner.

Requirements

Required qualification

Bachelor's Degree

Required skills

Strong knowledge of freight forwarding and air freight processes.
Good analytical and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and follow-up abilities.
Strong attention to detail and quotation preparation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
