Job Description

1. Port Operations: Coordinating vessel arrivals and departures, including scheduling berthing, pilotage, tugging, and mooring services. Ensuring that vessels are handled efficiently in ports to minimize turnaround times.
2. Cost Control: Monitoring and controlling costs associated with vessel operations, including port dues, pilotage fees, agency fees, and other expenses. Implementing cost-saving measures where possible without compromising safety or quality.
3. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations, port regulations, and industry standards. Keeping abreast of changes in regulations and implementing necessary measures to maintain compliance.
4. Communication: Serving as a liaison between the vessel, shipowners, charterers, port authorities, and other stakeholders. Facilitating effective communication and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise during vessel operations.
5. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of vessel operations, expenses, and incidents. Generating reports for management and stakeholders to provide visibility into vessel performance and financial metrics.
